When does Hasanah withdraw money?

If you are evaluating a recurring donation app, timing matters as much as amount. Hasanah's timing model is tied to the end of each cycle rather than to each purchase.

The timing rule Hasanah describes

At the end of each cycle, Hasanah calculates the total roundup amount for that cycle and initiates an ACH debit from the funding account for the applicable amount.

Why this is different from real-time charging

Hasanah does not move money after every transaction. Instead, it waits for the cycle to close and then converts the total roundup amount into one recurring debit.

How users are informed

Hasanah may provide notice of scheduled recurring debits through the service, by push notification, email, SMS, or other reasonable electronic means.

More questions

Does Hasanah withdraw on the same day every week?

Yes. The cycle recurs every seven days on the same recurring day, unless otherwise disclosed in the service.

Why is my donation amount not the same every week?

Because the amount depends on the actual roundup total from that cycle's eligible spending.

Can I skip before the withdrawal date?

Yes, if you do so before the processing cutoff shown in the service.
