Automatic sadaqah app: what Hasanah automates

An automatic sadaqah app should make two things clear: what happens automatically, and what stays under your control. Hasanah automates the roundup and weekly donation flow while still letting you pause, skip, or cancel.

What gets automated

Hasanah tracks eligible transactions, calculates the roundup amount, totals those amounts for the week, and initiates the ACH donation from your funding account. You do not need to re-enter payment details every time.

What stays in the donor's control

Automation does not remove control. You still choose to link accounts, authorize weekly donations, and decide whether to pause, skip, disconnect, or close the account.

Why this matters for consistency

Manual giving often depends on memory and momentum. Automation keeps the habit active in the background, so giving is less likely to disappear when life gets busy.

More questions

Does automatic sadaqah mean fixed recurring donations?

Not necessarily. Hasanah's weekly debit varies with your actual roundup total for that cycle.

Can I review the process before donating?

Yes. You can review the cycle, fee handling, and pause controls before relying on the app for recurring giving.

Does Hasanah keep charging after I cancel?

Cancellation applies prospectively. It will not affect withdrawals that were already authorized and in process before the cancellation became effective.
