Can I choose which nonprofit gets my donation?

Hasanah does not work like a general nonprofit marketplace. Donations are routed through campaigns unless Hasanah expressly offers a different selection flow.

The current default answer

No, not individually by default. Hasanah routes donations through campaigns selected and administered through the service, and users do not individually select the recipient nonprofit organization unless Hasanah expressly offers otherwise.

Why the distinction matters

Some donors want complete destination control. Others are comfortable with a campaign model if the causes and partner organizations are clearly explained. Hasanah's value proposition leans toward the latter.

What to do if destination control is essential

If choosing the exact nonprofit for every donation is non-negotiable, review Hasanah's active campaign structure before joining and compare it with products built specifically around one-time nonprofit selection.

More questions

Could Hasanah offer individual selection later?

Yes, if Hasanah expressly adds that capability in the service, but it is not the current default described in the terms.

Will I be notified about major campaign changes?

Yes. Hasanah will provide notice before a material change affecting where future donations are routed takes effect.

Does campaign-based routing make donations less charitable?

Not by itself. It changes donor control and product design, but charitable treatment depends on the actual nonprofit and receipt structure, not on whether the route was campaign-based.
